Custom Grommet Curtains

Our custom grommet curtains use standard 1.6-inch inner diameter grommets, fitting curtain rods up to 1.5 inches.

The outer diameter is 2 inches for a substantial, premium look.

We make custom grommet curtains in any size — from 24" wide to 240"+ wide, and from 20" to 144"+ long.

Measure your curtain rod width (not the window frame).

For fullness, choose 1.5x or 2x fullness on the product page. No calculation needed.

For length, measure from the top of the rod down to your desired endpoint — floor, sill, or apron — then add 1–2 inches.

Because grommets sit on top of the rod, hang your rod 6–10 inches above the window frame so the curtain fully covers the top of the window and prevents light leakage.

Your rod should be slightly smaller than the grommet's inner diameter so panels slide easily.

Note: because grommets are spaced openings at the top, both styles should be hung higher above the window and made extra-long for the best light-blocking results.

The best fix is to hang your rod 6–10 inches above the window frame and order curtains long enough to cover the full window.
