Your bedroom deserves better sleep, and this curtain makes that happen. This curtain uses plush velvet fabric at 1100 GSM.
The velvet feels soft against your hand, not stiff or scratchy.
It looks rich and matte, never shiny or plasticky.
The fabric holds its shape well, so it drapes in deep, even folds.
Thin, flimsy curtains sag and look cheap, but this one keeps its body and weight.
The material resists snagging, so pets and daily bumps won't ruin the look.
It's also environmentally friendly, so you can feel good about what hangs in your home.
Light sneaking through thin curtains ruins good sleep, and this curtain solves that problem.
It blocks 90 to 99 percent of outside light, depending on the color you pick.
Darker shades like Coffee Brown and Medium Gray block the most light.
An extra blackout liner adds even stronger light control and better thermal insulation.
Your room stays cooler in summer and warmer in winter with this liner in place.
Hot rooms and bright mornings won't wake you up anymore.
Parents want a nursery that feels calm, so Mint Green or Dusty Pink works perfectly there.
Renters need neutral colors that match any furniture, so Light Beige or Light Gray fits apartments and rental homes.
Remote workers need less screen glare, so Light Beige, Light Gray, or Medium Gray suits a home office.
Anyone who shares a living room wants a soft, modern look, so Sage Green or Sky Blue adds that calm touch.
Light sleepers need deep, dark rooms, so Coffee Brown or Medium Gray blocks the most light for bedrooms.
You get one curtain design that fits your exact room and your exact lifestyle.

A seam is the stitched line where two pieces of fabric are joined. Fabric only comes in certain widths and lengths. If your curtain is larger than one piece of fabric, we sew extra fabric on to reach your size.
No. Seams are standard practice for wide or long custom curtains. Once the curtain is hung, a seam usually disappears into the natural folds.
| Seam type | What it means | When it applies |
|---|---|---|
| No seam | Made from one piece of fabric | Your curtain is within the size range of a single fabric piece |
| Vertical seam | Two fabric widths are sewn together side by side | Your curtain is wider than one fabric width. Pleated styles often need this to look full |
Your seam needs depend on three things:
Why do pleated curtains often need a seam? Pleats need extra fabric to look full and neat. Sometimes one fabric width is not enough, so we join two widths to give you the right fullness and coverage.
Send us your measurements and your fabric choice. We will tell you exactly what your curtain needs. Email us at james@dolcewe.com.
Memory-shaping is the process that sets the fabric's folds so they hang neatly. Your curtain must fit one of these two size options:
| Size option | Maximum width | Maximum height |
|---|---|---|
| Option 1 (wider curtains) | 236 inches | 145 inches |
| Option 2 (taller curtains) | 160 inches | 255 inches |
Quick example: A curtain 200 inches wide and 120 inches tall fits Option 1. A curtain 150 inches wide and 200 inches tall fits Option 2. A curtain 200 inches wide and 200 inches tall fits neither, so please contact us and we will help you find a solution.

We've created a detailed measurement guide for you. Check it out here.
For pleated curtains, the panel width includes the pleats. We recommend 2 times fullness for the best look. Measure from the left end of the pleats to the right end, not from hem to hem.
Measure from the eyelet on the ring to the floor.
Yes, choose 200% fullness for pleated curtains. For a 100-inch rod, order two 50-inch wide panels for pinch or tailor pleated styles. You can go wider for more fullness.
Stacking width is about 20% of the ordered width. Consider this when choosing your rod length if you want the window fully visible when curtains are open.
Yes, we provide plastic adjustable pin hooks for pinch pleats and metal hooks for tailor pleats. The plastic hooks allow 3 inches of length adjustment. Rod rings are sold separately.
Here's a guide for pleat and pin hook numbers:
| Curtain Width | Number of Pleats |
|---|---|
| 50" | 10 |
| 72" | 13 |
| 84" | 15 |
| 100" | 19 |
| 110" | 21 |
| 120" | 23 |
| 150" | 27 |
Pleat width and spacing may vary slightly based on your track or pole length.
For most pleated styles, if the curtain length is over 108 inches, the maximum width without a seam is 56 inches. For triple pleat and triple tailor pleat styles, it's 50 inches. Wider curtains will have a vertical seam.
The maximum width is 160 inches.
Except for linen curtains, we use high-temperature setting for all curtains. Our Memory Shape Training technology helps curtains hang straight with beautiful folds. This prevents flaring at the bottom, unlike regular curtains.
It's permanent.
Everything except blackout edges is machine washable. Our curtains can be washed repeatedly while maintaining their shape. Use cold water only and hang to dry. Don't use hot water or a dryer to avoid shrinkage.
