100 Inch Long Curtains

100 inch long panels are ideal for rooms with 8 to 9 foot ceilings.

When you hang your curtain rod 4–6 inches above the window frame (which is the standard), 100 inches of length lets the panels just kiss the floor or pool slightly for a dramatic look.

If your ceiling is exactly 8 feet (96 inches), 100 inch curtains will still work — they'll just have a small puddle at the bottom, which many interior designers prefer.

Not quite! 8 feet equals 96 inches — so 100 inch curtains are actually 4 inches longer than standard 8-foot panels.

This extra length is intentional. It allows you to mount the rod higher (which makes your room look taller) while still having the curtains reach the floor.
